Football Betting Markets
- Full-time Result: Bet on the outcome of the match after 90 minutes of normal play, including any injury time (not extra time or penalty shootouts).
- Total Goals: Predict the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in 90 minutes.
- Both Teams to Score Yes/No: Bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal each within 90 minutes.
- Player Shots on Target: Back a specific player to hit the target even if the shot doesn’t result in a goal (not including shots that hit the bar).
- Goalscorer Markets: Back a specific player to score a goal during the match.
- First Goalscorer: The player to score the first goal of the match.
- Anytime Goalscorer: The player to score at any point during the match.
- Last Goalscorer: The player to score the final goal of the match.
Please note: Own goals do not count in goalscorer markets
- Player to Score X+ Goals: Back a specific player to score two or more goals (i.e., 2+, 3+) in the match.
- Player Assist: Back a specific player to make the final pass, cross, or touch that directly leads to a goal.
- Total Corners: Predict the total number of corner kicks taken by both teams combined during the match.
- Most Corners: Bet on which team will take the most corner kicks during the match.
- Total Cards: Predict the total number of yellow and red cards shown to players from both teams during the match.
Football Terminology
- Free-kick: A set piece awarded due to an infringement where the ball is placed where the foul occurred.
- Corner: A set piece taken from the corner arc, awarded when a defending player is the last to touch the ball before it goes over their own goal-line.
- Yellow Card: A caution shown by the referee to a player for minor infringements or unsporting conduct.
- Red Card: A dismissal shown by the referee to a player for serious foul play or repeated infringements via two yellow cards, leaving that team a player down for the rest of the game.
- Own Goal: When a player scores in their own team’s net, counting as a goal for the opposing side.
- Throw-in: A set piece taken from the side of the pitch where the player must throw the ball back into play with both hands over their head, awarded when the opposing team knocks the ball out of play.
- Injury Time (Added Time): Additional time added at the end of each half to compensate for stoppages during play (i.e., injuries, substitutions, goal celebrations).
- Extra Time: Two additional 15-minute periods after normal time if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes and injury time.
- Penalty: A set-piece taken 12 yards away from goal against only the opposing team’s goalkeeper, awarded when a player is fouled in the penalty box.
- Penalty Shootout: A tie-breaker where teams take turns taking penalties each until one outscores the other to determine a winner.
- Assist: The final pass, cross, or touch by a player that directly leads to a goal being scored by a team-mate.
- Substitution: When play is stopped so that a player can be replaced by another from the bench.
