Why do I need to verify my account?
Document verification is a standard process for BetMGM and takes place to protect you and your funds. The process is designed to ;
- Protect your account and ensure a safe and secure gambling environment for everyone at BetMGM
- Ensure that you are over the legal gambling age of 18
- Ensure that the deposits you have made to your account have come from legitimate sources.
This is all to avoid certain situations, for example, if someone were to use your card on their gaming account without your permission or knowledge and then transfer the funds to their own bank account.
Is it safe to send in my documents?
Yes! Sending in your verification documents is completely safe. Documents that have been sent in are stored on a secure server, which is handled by our trained verification team.
When should I send in documents?
BetMGM will email you if we need you to upload documents to verify your account. We may request different documents at different times, and we might ask for updated documents (like a new ID) to keep your account information up to date.
